Mrs. Cost has her B.S. from Texas A&M University, her M.S. in Public Horticulture Administration from the Longwood Program at University of Delaware, and a Museum Studies Certificate also from the University of Delaware. She has a background in fundraising, marketing, and finance. Stacey’s two children attend BCS. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, gardening, and reading. She is eager to work in partnership with Bethany’s families and the larger community and excited to see God’s plan for the school unfold. Her favorite Bible passage is Romans 12:9-12, “Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.” She is working on understanding what it means to “Be still and know I AM God.”
Mrs. Ingiosi has been a teacher at BCS since 2004. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University, 15 years of teaching experience, and her PA state teaching certification. In the past she has taught Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade. She serves as our Director of Academics on the Administrative Team. She will tap into her teaching experience to coach and mentor our faculty and students. Her daughter is a attended BCS from Preschool through 8th grade graduation and Daisey is a proud Liberty University of Mom. She loves witnessing the student’s growth and maturity in all areas over the school year. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Mrs. Leathers has been working at Bethany since 1998. She started in the preschool and now manages the Finance Office. She takes joy in visiting with the children and watching them grow throughout the year. Outside of BCS, she enjoys going on mission trips (most recently to Honduras!) and she treasures spending time with family and friends. Her favorite Bible verses are I Corinthians 4:16-18.
Mrs. Smith is the heartbeat of BCS. She has been working at Bethany since 1997. She has two daughters that graduated from Bethany. She enjoys the diversity her day brings and the joy of the children. She believes that working with children keeps you young and honest! Mrs. Smith enjoys baking, summer days by the pool, and spending time with her family as much as possible, including her very spoiled basset hound, Norman. Her favorite Bible verse is John 15:13.
Mrs. Cudicio began at BCS volunteering in her daughter’s first grade class in 2001 which led into a position on staff. After a break in service, she returned to BCS in 2014 to teach our preschoolers. Now she is our Marketing Assistant and is charged with getting the word out about BCS in the community! She loves spending time in God’s word and showing the love of Christ to everyone around her. She is reminded of God’s perfect peace and that He is sovereign in every detail of her life!
Mrs. Graul has been working at BCS since 2001. Both of her children are BCS graduates. She loves children and wants every child to feel important at BCS. God loves us all and He is our hope! In addition to seeing her smiling face in our Receptionist role, she also coordinates our Run Club program, designs our Yearbook, and manages our awesome volunteer program. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys walking, photography, and spending time with her family.
Linda has worn many hats at BCS, from admissions to middle school team leader. This is her second year as the Learning Support Teacher. She will work with our students who need a little extra attention as well as with our students who may need a little extra challenge. She attended Elizabethtown College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She also received her degree as a Reading Specialist from Lincoln University. Her youngest son is a graduate of Bethany. It is her joy to see Christ at work in the children. Her favorite Bible passage is from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Mrs. McKinley joined BCS in 2014 first as an aftercare aide then as a preschool teacher. Her son is a current student at our school. She has been working with children her whole life and loves working at BCS where the staff is united as sisters in Christ. She especially enjoys working with our youngest children.
Ms. Patrick has her degree is Music Education from Millersville University. She has been teaching private voice and piano lessons for 13 years. Here at Bethany she teaches music for 4th-8th grade, private instrumental, piano and vocal lessons and our Preschool 4 half-day class. Her two boys are current students a BCS. Ms. Patrick’s favorite verse is Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” We are thrilled to have her join the faculty at BCS!
Mrs. Hill began working at BCS in 2011. One of her sons is a current student and one is a former student at BCS. She enjoys working with our youngest students and the camaraderie with her Christian co-workers. Trish is super-organized and keeps our preschool on the right track!
Mrs. Dowd began at BCS in 1996 as a third grade teacher and then moved to Kindergarten in 2008. She has a degree in Elementary Education from Houghton College. One of Trish’s sons is a BCS graduate, the other one is a middle school student. They tease her that she hasn’t graduated out of Kindergarten, yet! She loves teaching young minds about the faithfulness of God, especially at Bethany were she has freedom and is encouraged to teach the truth of the Bible. In her spare time she reads, walks, swims, bargain hunts, and teaches Sunday School. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 62:8, “Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”
Mrs. McClure began at BCS in 2004. She has a degree in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching first grade at BCS and 4 years prior to that teaching preschool. Her daughter is a current BCS student. Jackie loves all reptiles, especially snakes! She spends her spare time reading, singing, acting, and traveling. Her students love the crazy voices she uses when reading aloud. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
Mrs. Shaw has her Early Childhood Education degree. She began teaching at BCS in 1992 in the preschool. She took a five year break to homeschool her children and came back to us in 2003. Both of her children are BCS graduates. Jen loves being able to share the word of God and the truth of the Gospel with her class. Her high school-age daughter is an author of Christian fiction and Jen spends her time taking her to various book signings. In her spare time, Jen enjoys making soap. She is a proud product of Christian education from kindergarten through college! Her favorite Bible passage Psalm 33: 18-22, “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.”
Mrs. Reiner has been at BCS for one year. She graduated from Alvernia College with her Elementary Ed degree and is certified in PA, MD, and NJ as well as in English as a Second Language (ESL). She has her Master’s degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. She has taught almost every elementary level at some point. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, painting, and playing the flute. Her favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 40:28-31, “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Mrs. McCullough believes that Christian education plays a vital role in the training of our children and she loves partnering with parents in the education of their children. It is her joy to see children grown up to serve the Lord and use the gifts He has given them. She graduated from Baptist Bible College, now Clarks Summit University, with a degree in Elementary Education and Bible. She has taught all grades from Kindergarten through 6th and has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Her three children graduated from BCS, a daughter with an education degree (who is a stay-at-home mom), another daughter who is a Navy Corpsman, and a son who works in insurance. She loves to read historical fiction and travel to the places she teaches about in history. She also loves to garden and complete remodeling projects. Her favorite verse is Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Mrs. Ramsland has her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and her Master’s of Science in Education with a specialty in Reading. She also has her ACSI teaching certification. She has 19 years experience in teaching in public and private schools in every grade from preschool through college. In her spare time she enjoys sewing, reading, and watching her children compete in swimming and diving competitions. She has 3 children. Her oldest daughter is a nurse, her middle daughter is studying at Stevenson, and her son is a BCS middle school student. Her favorite Bible verse is 1John 4:4, “Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
Middle School Faculty
Mrs. Brandon began at BCS over 10 years ago, left to teach at a few other Christian schools, and is now back home! She has her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a total of 19 years of teaching experience. All 4 of her children attended BCS. Her husband is a pastor and founded the Paris Foundation, a nonprofit that feeds the homeless in Elkton, MD. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys reading and walking on the beach. Her favorite Bible passages are Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” and Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Miss Lucas is a grad from Cedarville University, Ohio with a degree in Middle Childhood Education Science and Language Arts. She is also ACSI certified. Her life was changed when she went on a 2 month long mission trip to Ireland to spread the Good News. Cait is a product of Christian Education, attending York Christian School for high school and Cedarville for college. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing volleyball and basketball, skiing, and traveling. Cait lives on her 3-generation family farm! Her favorite Bible passage is Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Mrs. Kachnycz began at BCS in 2002 as a Physical Education Teacher and in 2003 became the Athletic Director. All three of her children attended and graduated from BCS. She loves teaching and encouraging the children to always do their best. She enjoys hearing the funny things that they say and seeing how caring the children are to each other.
Mrs. Hackman began at BCS in 2006 as an aide and moved into a position teaching music. She believes children bring joy into learning. She likes witnessing their joy in discovery and their excitement of wanting to learn more. Barb feels most gratified when she can watch the children’s faces and actions at the moment when they finally understand the concept that is being taught.
Ms. Patrick has her degree is Music Education from Millersville University. She has been teaching private voice and piano lessons for 13 years. Mrs. Jarvis began working at BCS in 2012. Her older daughter is a BCS graduate and her younger daughter is a current student. She loves all of the BCS children entrusted to her care and strives to be an encouragement to them. Her favorite Bible passages are Romans 8:37-39 and Isaiah 40:31.
Mrs. Rich began working at BCS in 2012. She took a break last year and she is back serving as an elementary aide assisting 1st through 3rd grades. Mrs. Rich is a Mousekateer and loves all things Disney! Her son is a current student at BCS. She will also be a beforecare aide in the morning.
Mrs. Mahan began working at BCS in January of 2014. Both of her children are current BCS students. She loves seeing the BCS students grow in a caring, Christian environment. She loves to talk to the children and see the world through their eyes; children are full of happiness, joy, creativity, and knowledge!
Mrs. Kaltenstein has been working at BCS since 2003. Both of her children graduated from BCS. She loves working with all ages of children, but has a special way of interacting with our Middle School students. In her spare time, she volunteers with her church and cheers on her children at their sports games.
Mrs. Brown began at BCS as a substitute in 2013 and now she is the 3rd grade Instructional Aide supporting Mrs. Reiner’s class. Her son is a BCS graduate. She keeps busy with her 2 children and her family farm.
