To My Dearest BCS
Family,
When Darius was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in June, my
heart fell. I was overcome with a sense of grief and hopelessness. I
called my family. They started praying and calling our church family.
I placed another call to Mrs. Lewis. She and Mrs. Holcomb immediately
added more work to their busy schedules. They gathered the Bethany
prayer angels, staff, students, parents, the church and even soldiers
in Afghanistan! This army, with the banner of praise and worship
before them, has lifted Darius and me to the Lord on a daily basis.
Because of this, we have come through the chemo and are now in the
radiation phase. He has had radiation to his neck and chest and now is
having his stomach and spleen radiated, which makes him nauseous.
For the rest of our lives, we will never forget the outpouring of love
and support (spiritual, financial, and every way help can be given).
Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Holcomb, Mrs. Felter and Mr. Howell made the webcam
possible, so he could be in class with Mrs. Felter, Mrs. LeFever and
his classmates.
Mrs. Hawley came to our home twice a week for one-on-one classes!
Where, but at this wonderful school, that truly lets the Lord lead,
could all of this happen? Darius and I, as well as the rest of our
family, will always be grateful to all of you.
We pray that God will open up the windows of Heaven and pour out his
blessings on all of you! We wish our Bethany family and every other
person or group who has blessed us, a very Blessed and Merry Christmas
and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Sincerely with love, in Christ,
Darius and Catherine Montgomery |
