Parent Teacher Fellowship
The Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at Bethany Christian School is a vibrant, collaborative organization that strengthens the partnership between parents, teachers, and staff. Modeled similarly to a traditional PTA, the PTF plays a vital role in supporting the school community, enhancing student experiences, and fostering a Christ-centered environment.
PTF Mission and Purpose
The PTF exists to:
Encourage meaningful parental involvement in the life of the school
Promote communication and collaboration between families and faculty
Support school programs, events, and special initiatives
Build a strong sense of community rooted in Christian values
Activities and Support
The PTF supports BCS through a variety of activities, including:
Organizing family and school events (banquets, socials, fundraisers)
Assisting with classroom projects and enrichment activities
Coordinating volunteer efforts for school programs
Sponsoring teacher appreciation initiatives
Providing input and feedback on school initiatives to help strengthen the overall educational experience
Membership and Participation
All parents and guardians of BCS students are invited to participate.
Teachers and staff serve as advisors and partners in fellowship activities.
Participation is flexible, from occasional volunteering to regular committee involvement.
