Melissa Tabor

Trish Dowd

Mrs. Dowd began at BCS in 1996 as a third grade teacher and then moved to Kindergarten in 2008. She has a degree in Elementary Education from Houghton College. Trish has two son’s that are both BCS graduates. They tease her that she hasn’t graduated out of Kindergarten, yet!   She loves teaching young minds about the faithfulness of God, especially at Bethany were she has freedom and is encouraged to teach the truth of the Bible. In her spare time she reads, walks, swims, bargain hunts, and teaches Sunday School. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 62:8, “Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”

Jackie McClure

Mrs. McClure began at BCS in 2004.  She has a degree in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching first grade at BCS and 4 years prior to that teaching preschool. Her daughter is a current BCS student.  Jackie loves all reptiles, especially snakes! She spends her spare time reading, singing, acting, and traveling. Her students love the crazy voices she uses when reading aloud. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

Hannah Painter

Kevin Fry

Mr. Fry came to Bethany in 2019. Prior to coming to BCS in, Mr. Fry and his family served as missionaries in Guatemala for 10 years serving as Principal of Christian Academy of Guatemala. During this time, he was responsible for overseeing building improvement projects, starting innovative and advanced programs, and adding extracurricular activities. Prior to that, he served as Principal at Columbia Middle School and Vice Principal/Dean of Students at Riverside High School in Oregon. Mr. Fry taught for 4 years before his administrative years and has continued to teach classes and coach as needed. Mr. Fry is the Administrator of The King’s Christian Academy. He is a graduate of George Fox University with a BA in Writing/Literature with 65 graduate credits in School Administration, Curriculum and Language Arts. Mr. Fry and his wife Ardella have five children.

Stefani Peterson

Mrs. Peterson began at BCS in 2017. Prior to BCS, she was with Christiana School District in Delaware. Mrs. Peterson has a Bachelor of Education Degree with a focus in Special Education and a Minor in Reading from West Chester University. Her certifications include, Special Education K-12 and Exceptional Disabilities 3-12. Mrs. Peterson is married and has two daughters. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
